Tis the season to work 15 hour days 1

Christmas In RetailFa la la la la, la la la la.

The joys of working retail, lol.

The Sunday before Christmas this year will be a blast.

My boss was lucky enough to get some tickets to the Steelers-Broncos game on Sunday afternoon and the other manager at our store will be out of town for a family wedding.

That leaves me. πŸ™‚ We tried to find help from another store to cover a shift, but no luck there.

Sooooo, I’ll be working a 7:30 AM to 10:15 PM shift. YAY!!

The silver lining is that I will have 3 days off this Christmas week, so I’ll suffer the very long day in lieu of an extra day off

On the affiliate marketing front, I’ve finally settled on a the topic of the first review on my review site. It’s taken far too long and I really need to just start creating content instead of overthinking things. If the subject sucks, so what. Move on to the next article.

I still haven’t completed the Pittsburgh Clicks site. Good grief, I’m in such awe of the people who have excellent time management skills. I need to get me some of those. πŸ™‚

Some people say I’m too hard on myself, but even if that’s the case, I’m still positive that I’m moving(albeit very slowly) towards my goals. Personally, I feel some self-criticism helps spur me on, even if it takes a while to do so.

Recently I relayed to an online friend that I’ve finally admitted that I’m most definitely afraid of failing and/or looking stupid pursuing this online career. Getting past that fear is one reason I’m making these posts, even if nobody is reading them at this point.

I guess this is a bit therapeutic. I hope the hell it works.

Time to start getting ready for the job.

Until next time.
