Thanks for sharing Luis. Nice to know some scammer has my name. :) lol

It's just such a shame that there is so much garbage on the 'net and especially on sites like craigslist, monster, etc. where so many people are trying to find something legit to make some money.

I came across this today, I answered a job ad on Craigslist, the add was for a part-time work in accounting.
So I sent a message asking for more information, the only thing that I put on there was my Name, cell number, and e-mail address.

Hours later I receive a text message from chrisflavour90:
" I am chris Bailey from DLA piper LLP US please tell me if yyou are still interested in the Payroll position before i attend to another candidate"

I replied " Yes, I need to speak with you."

chrisflavour90:
" I am chris Bailey from DLA piper LLP US please tell me if yyou are still interested in the Payroll position before i attend to another candidate"

chrisflavour90:
"Okay good i just gave the company name and the position is payroll in which you will be working from home"

chrisflavour90:
"Are you still with me?"

chrisflavour90:
"ima deaf and mute mouthed person so i will use the realy to call now or can we chat on yahoo messenger?"

I reply:
"Im not stupid go away this smells like a scam."

chrisflavour90:
"go fuck yourself. how dare you call me scam"

I reply:
"Whatever scam."

************

So my point is that this person refused to speak over the phone, refused to give company info like phone number, address, e-mail.

Basically if it is too good to be true it is NOT. Please people don't fall pray to scams like these, investigate, ask questiosn, and look for patterns in their behaviour. Always ask for company information, contact info, do the formal thing of meeting for an interview, etc.

Find as much about the employer as they do about the interviewe. Take care out there!

Hi, Every body

I have been a member with wbso for some time. But for the past 8-14 months a unable to get access to the member's area or any replies to my emails.

I am now begin to wonder, when hearing all those comment from others who lost out.
I now know why I've not received any mails from them. We have now removed their website page from ours .

The site and contexts were good from start, but they should have explain to members or posted on their website before closing down without a warning..

A lottery is a promotional device by which items of value are awarded to members of the public by chance, but which requires some form of payment to participate. In the United States and most developed countries, lotteries are illegal except when conducted by governments (states in the US) and certain exempt charitable organizations.

Here are key points for avoiding scam lotteries:

 1. You cannot win a legitimate lottery if you have not entered it.
 2. In almost all cases you must purchase a ticket to enter a legitimate lottery.
 3. You never have to pay to collect winnings from a legitimate lottery. You pay taxes AFTER you you receive the winnings. There are no other fees.
 4. If you hold a winning lottery ticket, you notify the lottery (they do not notify you; not by email, not by phone, not by mail).
 5. It is illegal under U.S. federal law to play ANY foreign lottery from the United States. Many other countries have similar laws. for example, you must be a Spanish resident to play the El Gordo lottery.
 6. Since scammers simply invent new names for their fake email scam (the email is the scam, not any persons or companies named in the email)s, it is more accurate to say that if you do not see the lottery on the list of legitimate lotteries, it is probably a scam.
 7. If it isn't conducted by a government or government-authorized charitable organization, it can't be a legitimate lottery

*If you believe you have received a solicitation in the guise of a sweepstakes which is an illegal lottery, you should contact your local post office or state Attorney General's consumer protection office.
