Thanks for sharing Luis. Nice to know some scammer has my name. :) lol

It's just such a shame that there is so much garbage on the 'net and especially on sites like craigslist, monster, etc. where so many people are trying to find something legit to make some money.

I came across this today, I answered a job ad on Craigslist, the add was for a part-time work in accounting.
So I sent a message asking for more information, the only thing that I put on there was my Name, cell number, and e-mail address.

Hours later I receive a text message from chrisflavour90:
" I am chris Bailey from DLA piper LLP US please tell me if yyou are still interested in the Payroll position before i attend to another candidate"

I replied " Yes, I need to speak with you."

chrisflavour90:
" I am chris Bailey from DLA piper LLP US please tell me if yyou are still interested in the Payroll position before i attend to another candidate"

chrisflavour90:
"Okay good i just gave the company name and the position is payroll in which you will be working from home"

chrisflavour90:
"Are you still with me?"

chrisflavour90:
"ima deaf and mute mouthed person so i will use the realy to call now or can we chat on yahoo messenger?"

I reply:
"Im not stupid go away this smells like a scam."

chrisflavour90:
"go fuck yourself. how dare you call me scam"

I reply:
"Whatever scam."

************

So my point is that this person refused to speak over the phone, refused to give company info like phone number, address, e-mail.

Basically if it is too good to be true it is NOT. Please people don't fall pray to scams like these, investigate, ask questiosn, and look for patterns in their behaviour. Always ask for company information, contact info, do the formal thing of meeting for an interview, etc.

Find as much about the employer as they do about the interviewe. Take care out there!
